I absolutely adore this squad, this community, the energy from each athlete. This community continually gives me new life. I had a very busy week traveling for work, so your messages throughout were so appreciated! I may not respond to every one, but I see each one and appreciate it! So thanks the Amazon and their incredible communication (not), my internet overhaul device won’t get here until tomorrow, so live sessions will commence Wednesday and Friday. I’m so excited, I’ve invested in a device that should take me from a hundred mb of speed to 1000! Let’s goooo! (Hopefully 😆)

I have been reading “Fiber Fueled. “. I have this cook book and will often cook out of it. We are not vegetarians, and I will add some sort of protein source to a lot of the recipes (eggs, fish, red meat, turkey, etc). But, I have been cooking a big pot of this soup, “Black Beans Soup With Quinoa and Kale. “. I usually add more of everything and recently added lentils to it. Wanted to share in case anyone is interested. It’s really easy, very good, and wonderful for an easy lunch or dinner.

Man, today was just one of those days. Today I tried several times to workout but my body and brain was not having it. I just felt weak and burnout on all levels lol. I really tried not to get down on myself. Anyone else ever feel this way?

After experiencing some discomfort in my lower back each morning over the past few weeks, it finally decided to fully turn against me Thursday. My SI joint is on strike and has turned me into duck-waddling-dude-rancher with the inability to stand erect. Looks like my next week will be full of steroids, stretching, and muscle relaxers (I’m allergic to NSAIDS 🤦🏼‍♀️). Praying for a quick recovery so that I can get back at it with the next program. 💗 Stay salty y’all!!

I have found myself working on different things instead of just sitting down watching tv. There have been a few evenings this past week or so that Ryan was going to be home late instead of sitting down turning tv on I have taken some minutes between chores to work on my handstands stretch or today I felt like I needed to go for a walk to clear my mind after work. Good day but jam packed. My walk very quickly turned into a jog to a I bet I can sprint to that location before I turn around and go home. Then I did the same thing on the way back. Walked. Jogged. Sprinted until my driveway. Felt so good!

Well all I can say is I finished it. That was a tough one physically and mentally. I had to coach myself all the way through. It's a good reminder for me that not every workout will be perfect but I'm proud of myself for showing up.

Haddie asked me if I still liked Jenny because I yelled what the f*ck Jenny at the screen when she said we were doing out 4th sumo squat 😂 although of course Jenny was right I did have it in me! Haddie got discouraged during this one that she isn’t strong. I paused the workout to talk to her Ryan goes Haddie your the strongest 5 year old I know. Most adults cannot do what your mom or what Jenny is doing and your 5 and your doing it! Then he says I cannot even do the moves they do and you can do them! She is all happy and enjoying her popsicle now after finishing the workout with me!
