Have been under the weather for the last two days, but after only walking Friday and yesterday, today it was time to get back to the land of living. Did not have the energy for the cardio HIIT so wrapped up the back session today. I’m pretty sure I just sweated out any remaining virus that hit my body. Sweating like a endurance athlete in the tropics! Needed that and hope to get the cardio/HIIT on Tuesday. Can’t believe we are stepping into the final week!!

I used to hate chest days, yet here I am looking forward to them every week. Testament to the Get Salty program and Jenny’s coaching! My first set of handstands were an absolute abomination - pretty sure a revolt from all the work we did before that! Second two sets, my muscles adjusted and gave me what I needed to maintain a few handstands for about five seconds without a wall. Total win! This was the workout I absolutely needed today to make me forget about work stress!

Great job for showing up! Never any regrets after, even if you aren’t 100 percent!

I feel like I am right there with you Deidra!

GOLIATH! Bringing me back to my first love - leg day! That session was absolute 🔥!! It will definitely be the session that keeps going and going this week, most likely every time I try to go up and down stairs and squatting to pee! You will be thought of all week for sure Jenny Fisher !!

I had no idea what she was doing because I was just trying to get mine done without collapsing. Great job getting some tuck jumps in! 👊🏻

I almost didn’t do the HIIT today because I walked three rounds of dogs and am SORE from yesterday’s back and biceps session (trying to understand how my legs are also sore from that…). But decided I can do anything for 36 minutes and got out here and crushed it. Opted for burpees with ball slams to round out the session. I rode a mechanical bull during mom’s weekend at my daughter’s college when I was 55. I stayed on longer than any of the college kids, only because at 55 I have learned how to pace myself, and by 1:30 am, those poor children could barely stand upright on their own two feet. I had to go to my chiropractor the next day, and his comment: “Middle-age women on mechanical bulls are keeping me busy this year!” LOL - no regrets! Have a great weekend everyone!
