Great question! Most of the inaccuracy is in underestimating portions and added calories when cooking or flavoring foods, also forgetting to track licks, tastes, bites, sips, and some of it is due to mislabeled foods and tracking apps/google giving misinformation.
What I do is I added up my caloric value and add 50-100 calories depending on the size of the snack/meal to offset undercounting.
