FUUUUUGGGG!!! Anyone else grateful today’s HIIT was only 30 minutes?? 😅 Wowza - few times I just wanted to go into prayer pose and cry, but I kept telling myself that it’s only 30 minutes and 30 second intervals. Done and off to make the most of the rest of this day! Happy weekend and loved the indulgence discussion Jenny Fisher Wherever the devil is, grace abounds all the more. Such a valuable and big lesson for us to learn, and for me a daily effort to improve my practice in that regard.

What a week, especially being away from home! I have learned over and over and over that one week truly does not impact consistent training and an overall clean diet. My guess is when you are fully recovered, you will come back feeling energized and will kill your sessions. Grace is so hard to give to ourselves! But such a great discipline to develop. 🫶🏻🫶🏻

Getting salty this Friday from Dallas TX! Back sessions are always my absolute favorite and today was absolute 🔥 Back felt good and knee remarkably started feeling better after the chest workout on Wednesday (scratching my head on that one…). Will try and get the HIIT in tomorrow and start back on legs on Monday. Have a great weekend, and thank you Jenny Fisher for the encouragement about anabolic training. It’s a good reminder, especially at my age, to focus on quality longevity instead of what a stupid scale says. 🩵

I am feeling my age this week: a bad back acting up and for the first time ever, a bum knee. Literally no idea what I did, but had to wear a brace this morning to walk the dogs. I opted to hold off on legs and do the chest and triceps workout from this morning. Lateral movement is fine but forward movement is what is limiting. Hoping my chiro can help tomorrow and I’ll be back on track. The chest and tri workout has left me with jello arms and a smile on my face! Damn I love lifting!
