Thank you Jenny Fisher for making chest day something I actually look forward to now! This week’s was just fun, despite 5lb weights kicking me to the curb! I don’t typically have external motivators to train, but my husband is taking me to St. John for my 60th bday in early June. I ordered a bikini, and we will see if I choose to wear it. Turning 60 makes me question if I should still be wearing one, but tropical islands just seem to inspire them. Grateful I have these programs to keep me motivated! 👙😘

Over here anti-aging my 🍑! Funny how I remembered all of this session, EXCEPT for the fourth round of the last block! It was just as good a time as the first go around!😅

Not gonna lie, I was really grateful we didn’t have to do them in week 9! Week 9 was still wobble worthy though!

Holy Schnypy (spelling?) Pretty much sums up today’s leg session! Butt and quad burner for sure! 😅

Almost feels like you didn’t work out, doesn’t it?! 😜 I used my phone today because my iPad was dead. I’ll let you know if it happens to me.

Finally had the energy to get to Friday’s workout. Last two weeks have been a struggle with low back issues, low energy, and just not feeling great. Found out Thursday that I have a UTI (PSA for new puppy owners: don’t hold your pee at night for fear of waking up your new puppy… especially when they are already sleeping through the night!). Finally feeling a bit back to normal today, and this workout was just what I needed to get re-motivated and energized. Had some great revelations this week regarding my emotional health and training. All I did from Wednesday on was walk the dogs, and each day I noticed my thoughts getting darker and more self-destructive. Kept having to speak truth into the lies and the mental warfare was a bit brutal. But I have been doing this long enough to know how important the physical and mental connection are for me, so today, despite not being 100 percent, I knew I needed to get a good session in. In case any of you find yourself in a spiral of guilt and self-loathing because you have missed a few workouts or even a week, just step back onto the mat and reset your mindset. We are all so much stronger than we think, and so often it is the mental victory that requires the greatest effort. Ready for week 9!
