My mom did a lot of work in breaking the first step of this, she NEVER commented on how my body looked or an outfit etc expect to ask how I felt in something, if I felt strong, happy etc (a BIG change from how she was raised) but she always talked down about herself, which eventually transferred to me (if she didn’t like her thighs & I had big thighs… or if she commented on someone else’s “flaws” 🙄 and I had a similar feature etc) so that’s the step I’m trying to change now & oddly enough it’s rubbing off on my mom too 😂

Thank you- it was definitely not easy at all and I did not feel like tuning in to the workout this am, but all that changed after our interaction. I’ll take motivation however I can get it until the discipline & habits build back up
