Is it just me or are other people's bootys and hammies sore even 3 days after this week's leg day? (I did it on Tuesday) My goodness y'all...that was so good and so awful at the same time 😆 Bulgarians are never ever my favorite...

Today I woke up after not having slept well and was not feeling motivated to train. Nevertheless I got in my car and went to my Rockbox class because I knew I would feel better once I started...and it was amazing! I left so salty and feeling so great! For those that are not at the point to know that once you get past those first few minutes it will feel good, hang in there. You can even promise yourself that if you still aren't feeling it after 10 minutes you can stop, and I bet you won't actually. I hope that everyone gets to the point of knowing how amazing you will feel after if you aren't there yet. Happy weekend salt squad!

Needed a quick leg workout this morning before work and Fire Starter was just the thing!  Had saved it in my favorites and now I remember why...hits some strength and some HIIT in a quick 40 min session.  Those rocket jumps get me every time when we hit them late in the session.  Legs were fatigued and on fire at the end, great throw back!

I just have to say after just completing Friday's session today, that I really appreciated your closing comments about what your training is all about Jenny.  It isn't about the before/after pics.  I always tell anyone who asks what I do to workout about you and how it's about strength and agility and challenging yourself wherever you are at, and how in the last 2 years I've seen my own agility and stamina grow tremendously.  I'm here because it's fun (yes, I am one of those who long ago reached that point where training is my happy place always even when it sucks) and I love seeing the new things that I can do.  I'm arguably the fittest I've ever been in my life in my 40s, not the skinniest or smallest, but the fittest--with some wrinkles and cellulite and scars--and I'm finally in a place to really appreciate all that I can do and want to keep doing and trying.  It's not all about how I look but the muscles I've built don't look bad :) even if some think I'm too muscular.  Thanks for staying true to your mission Jenny.  Love you and this community.

Ok, so I'm playing catch up this week after visiting my sister and adorable niece last week. Did the Booty Biscuit workout 2 days ago and then last night's leg and back workout today...OMG...I'm still so sore in my glute-ham tie-in area from 2 days ago that today I was like I don't know that I can get low...booty bands gonna kill me. Now I see what y'all were nicely b@tching about...🔥🔥🔥😆

Was able to do today's session while visiting my sister and her 2 month old this week since it was primarily body weight. Always love those Craig finishers! Have a great weekend everyone!

Y'all, I'm traveling so am postponing doing this week's Beach Shred since I don't have dumbbells available.  I did the Going Out for Varsity session paired with one of the Varsity cardio sessions...and for those that did that series, do you remember Satan's rounds?  Uggg...I started the Going Out for Varsity and thought to myself...is this the one with that horrible ending?  Yep, it was...just thought I'd let you know...if you're curious, just fire it up and you'll see what I mean...shoulders on fire...Have a great week everyone!  Can't wait to get back and catch up.

Just did the Wednesday chest/shoulders session and well, I'm not sure I'm going to be able to move my chest tomorrow...Jenny, it may be another it kinda hurts to rub my hands together to wash them sort of workout ;)  But I am seriously loving that this particular Week#1 is already challenging from the very first workout.  Really enjoyed the boxing that pairs nicely with my Rockbox classes that I throw in each week too.  Will definitely come back to that one as a finisher.

I'd also like to shout out any newbies here...this is probably the toughest week#1 Jenny has done for any program.  So, don't get discouraged if you feel like you are struggling at all.  Hang in there, go at your pace and do what challenges you.  It isn't about anyone else but you.  By the end of 8 weeks you will be really surprised at how much more agile and strong you will feel.  :)  That's a promise.

If anyone is looking for a great cardio agility sweat, go back and do Just Shred.  Bodyweight only, great sweat.  Can do this one anywhere.

If anyone is interested in a great sweat, definitely do this one.  I have used this one a number of times while traveling because it is a bodyweight only session. Here's my moment to share progress as well...it's been a while (maybe 6 or 8 months?) since I last did it.  This morning I never had to stop on the power planks.  Before I would always hit a point where I needed to stop and rest before the 30 seconds was up, and today I did all the sets without stopping and rebounding from plank to pike the whole time!  Like Jenny says in this one, this exercise is the hardest one for me.  I was so excited that this seemed much easier than I had remembered (easy being relative, not eeaassyyy, but easier than before).  Still a great shred, I was drenched at the end of the session.  This was great to show progress for me and so much fun to do!  Highly recommend it for this week!  Wanted to share so that others can realize that you will see progress if you are consistent, I promise!
