I know right?! I have to see what we are doing before I can pick my weight...the benefit of typically doing the sessions later. I can pause and get my weights set up. 😆😁

I really loved the fast pace of this one. Will definitely come back and try to increase my weights even more. So salty! ❤️❤️❤️🥵

This one was a ton of fun. I did it after the back day session and it was a great finisher. I honestly thought after 3 minutes you were gonna have us do 2 minutes. I half thought about making my own last 2 minute session and then I quickly remembered my shoulders were already fully toasted 🥵😆

I go to Costco and get the Pellegrino flavored sparkling waters as my go-to.

Just did the yoga this morning and I loved it! Saved it as a favorite for later. Definitely a nice travel staple when HIIT is not right for the day. Happy Sunday Salty Sisters 😁

You're looking amazing and you're finding a way even when life throws in some curve balls. Keep killing it lady!

Christine Bush Roman ok, update from this morning. The plates from the dumbbell only set can be used on the barbell set but not vice versa. Shouldn't be a problem since I can still load up my barbell fully. Also if I want to create one heavy dumbbell for something like a goblet squat I can simply use the dumbbell only set of plates (those handles are longer). Still works, wouldn't change my purchase, but want to be honest in all of it.

Christine Bush Roman Ok, sorry, last thing on why I got both sets...when doing the math on how I could gradually increase the dumbbell weight if I wanted to use 2 at the same time, I needed a bigger amount of plates.  Just getting the barbell set (which comes with dumbbell handles) I couldn't get heavy enough for the dumbbells or the barbell for things like deadlifts and hip thrusts.

Also this was cheaper than just buying the plates individually when I priced out the plates at the store.  Meaning, if I just got the barbell set and bought additional plates (which seems logical at first blush) it was actually going to cost me more than buying the dumbbell set on Amazon instead.  Crazy I know...but thought I'd save you the research I did locally.

Christine Bush Roman It cut me off on the length...so here's a few more tidbits...

All the plates are 1 inch so both of these sets are compatible with each other.  The collars that lock the plates in place are not compatible for some reason but each set has its own, so no worries there.

They are solid, sturdy, well made sets so I feel good about this purchase lasting for years to come and will hopefully be my last dumbbell/weight purchase for my home use.

I also bought this pad for when I do hip thrusts and it seems to work well and it didn't cost much.  https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BZY5VMDK?ref=ppx_pop_dt_b_product_details&th=1

Happy to answer any other questions you have about these products or a few others I researched on Amazon and at Academy and ultimately passed on due to concerns they were lesser quality.

Keep on getting salty my sister!

Christine Bush Roman Here's the link to the dumbbell set and the rack I bought on Amazon.  I only got the rack because I bought both a barbell (below) and dumbbell set and didn't want to just have piles of plates on the floor.  Also I only paid $28 for the rack 2 weeks ago, so the price has jumped.  https://www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/988T3FVW57UJ?ref_=wl_share

Here's the link to the barbell/dumbbell set I bought at Academy Sports.  Quick note--it says 110 lbs, but it's really only 92 lbs total.  The plates total 80 lbs and I weighed the bar and it was 12 lbs. $150 for this set and it comes with both a 5 ft barbell and 2 dumbbell handles. It is 1 inch in diameter so definitely smaller and lighter than your traditional Olympic style bar, but this makes it easier to maneuver and store in a smaller space as I've stated. Also the bar can hold up to 150 lbs so I can load up with plates from my other set.   https://www.academy.com/p/cap-barbell-110-lb-regular-grip-barbell-weight-set
