Happy Friday salt squad! Every session this week has been a salty one! I have loved them all! One big change I have made since Monday was to start tracking my food intake. I am not looking at total calories consume, and instead I shifted my focus on high protein and fiber foods. I am hitting more than 80g of protein and more than 25g of fiber a day. This mind shift of tracking certain macros has not let me to under eat (which has happened before) because my focus is not on the overall count in calories. When I do see the overall calories is still in a good range and I don’t feel like I am dieting or that I need to cut things out. I am doing this to bring myself to be aware of what I am consuming and if I want my body to respond how I want it, I have to fuel it with what it needs. No junk, just food. My goal is to track for the next couple of weeks and see how I am feeling. Crossing fingers all goes well! Stay salty you all! β€οΈπŸ™ŒπŸΌ
