I’ve hit a new level of feeling grateful and that I’m a member of this program. I’ve noticed over the last couple of years that my almost 13 year old has become more sedentary because of the load of school work that comes with middle school. She has had less and less time for movement unless she is in her cheer season during the fall. Now that school is done, I’ve talked her into working out and she’s doing the Rookie series so she can build some strength and flexibility before the cheer season begins again. So so thankful I have this resource for her!

My legs are so sore. I’m literally grunting whenever I have to get up and down!

Sprinted uphill outside of my house and according to my watch I hit zone 5 on the 3rd sprint. Apparently zone 5 is also where my exercised induced asthma wants to make an appearance 😮‍💨. Had to pause for a few extra seconds to get my breathing under control and decided it would be best to not push zone 5 again. Got to the top of zone 4 and felt ok for the rest of the sprints.
