Perfect Saturday night workout! LOVED the cardio hip hop session, and even after being gone all day, errands with the adult kids, and last minute shopping and dinner, I just needed to get this session in! Not gonna lie, had a few glasses of wine with dinner, but this kind of session, it didn’t hinder it - may have even made me a bit more fluid! I’ll finish the challenge in eight days instead of seven, but wow!!! I have absolutely loved this week!! May repeat it moving into next week while waiting for the grind challenge! Looking forward to more cardio hip hop in 2024!! Tearing down my comfort zone!

Did week seven MVP legs and booty today. First salt session I’ve done since the MVP ended. For the first two weeks after due to time and commitments, I just got as much walking in as possible. First week was intentional but the second week, I was just more unmotivated and apathetic. Yesterday I made myself get out on my porch and do a tris, biceps and shoulder workout. Told myself I’d stay out for thirty minutes and no more. Stuck to it and remarkably, I found my motivation somewhere in that session. Feels good to be back. My body missed the mobility and my mind was desperate for the strength training. What a session to walk back into! Legs are absolute fire! If you’re feeling unmotivated, just commit to thirty minutes, set your timer and just step on the mat. I promise you’ll find it there! 💖

Had to pivot this week due to extreme work schedule and bladder infection/UTI. Stepping away from MVP and focusing on total body sessions today and Friday, and will pick up a bonus session from the weekend on Sunday.
Did L&ab session 2 today and loved it maybe even more than the first time. My body was literally craving movement and I am so glad I took 45 minutes midday to honor it and give it what it needed. I’ll be back in MVP next week!

I always know when an upper body session gets my muscles so spent that I can only do pushups on my knees, and with breaks in between every two, that session is one helluva session! Salty and spent in all the best ways. Foot is feeling good enough to put a shoe on and walk, but jumping will have to come in a few days. That said, I stuck to the strength and hit some serious burnout on everything! Looking forward to mobility tomorrow and the Friday total body on Saturday.

Boxing is my jam and today I won the rounds on my bag, but my ceiling fan clocked me during the overhead stretch when I forgot I was under it! 🤣 Keeping me humble! Followed it with the other suggested cardio tabata mini session. Rocket jumps were not in my practice today but finished strong and energized despite the heat. Off to hydrate! 💦💦💦

Great start to my week with this full body everything kind of workout. Sweaty in the best kind of way, and I’m not gonna lie, hearing my name never gets old and continues to encourage me to keep pushing! Even if it’s during the stretch! 💖🧂

At my parents house and of course have to visit their community gym every time I visit. Discovered something I did not know about myself… good looking guys with excellent form and exceptional gym manners elevate my performance to entirely new levels. Best 36 minute workout I’ve had in a long time! Happy Sunday everyone. I’m feeling strong and badass! 😘👊🏻

Session 4 upper body of the HIIT challenge did not disappoint in any way - delivered in every way, and yes, I needed it today! Laughing about the 8 minute challenge because everyone talked about it, but didn’t say anything “about it” Kind of like anyone who saw sixth sense and talked about how unbelievable the ending was but no one said what it was because they didn’t want to ruin the surprise. I could totally do an 8 minute challenge like that again. Parts of it sucked but it was invigorating!

Knew I wouldn’t make tonight’s upper body so I searched upper body and found a 36 minute UB session from the original level up challenge (wk 3 I believe). The “mobility” block at the end was deceptively challenging - felt more like a body weight strength block! 😅 But everything is loose and greased up, so mobility it is I agree with Jenny, I have a great trainer 😉🩵
