Headed to my parents today and after four hours in a car, the cardio session from yesterday was exactly what I needed to loosen up my tight back, butt, and legs. Walked for 15 minutes before and about 25 or so minutes afterward and am thoroughly enjoying the sweat today! Loved the conversation about plateaus and the importance of protein. This series, I have been dedicated to hitting at least 100 grams of protein daily, along with fiber at every meal. It is my one non-negotiable and it has been a game changer. My energy level, my satiation during the day and evening, and holy smokes my skin and hair quality!! This works so well for me. Strictly counting macros/calories tends to take me down a rabbit hole where I lived for too long a long time ago, but focusing on protein and fiber and consistently getting movement in - life giving and super sustainable long-term. I’m not really focusing on weight right now: building muscle feels amazing and my clothes still fit - maybe even better. This series has just been so enlightening in so many ways. Hope all of you are finding new ways to improve your health journey. It is definitely a lifelong endeavor!

Jenny Fisher we have a great coach! 🫶🏻😊

I am proof that you can do a get salty session, get a really good workout in, and not sweat to the point where your hair gets wet, which is generally the case for me. Granted I’m inside, air down LOW, and practically naked, but I still got an intense session in with cardio modifications. That is what Get Salty and Jenny have done for me. I would rather risk a few drops of sweat after investing dollars in a keratin treatment because my body needs to move. I know I can’t go outside because TX is still in the throes of summer heat, but my movement can be adjusted to still get a great workout in. Instead of the reverse burpees at the end, I took my lighter weights and alternated reverse flys and hammer curls. I then sat on the floor Indian style and stood up - just to make sure I could! Great way to end this session. I have saved it so I can do full intensity after I’ve shampooed my hair!

Maria Vardian gladly 🤣🤣

Wasn’t it a great session!!

You are absolutely inspiring 😤

So I made a huge calculation error and went in yesterday for a keratin treatment on my hair, completely forgetting the restrictions for the first twenty four (optimally 72 but HECK NO) hours prior to shampooing. When I asked my hairdresser if I could workout he said yes as long as I don’t sweat… wait, what?! People actually work out without sweating?? So here I sit trying to decide if I can do yesterdays back session and bring my weights inside and turn down the air, and maybe not sweat…🤔

Jenny Fisher I’m not gonna lie, I felt very seen when you said you have been kind of sore for the last three weeks. Maria Vardian you are not alone in your soreness sister!

Welll leg session week 7 did NOT disappoint. Absolutely jello legs and pouring sweat! My booty started twerking all on its own during the second and third round of the sumo pulses. Glad to know it can actually shake like that 😅
