The last 8 weeks may not have been easy, but they were SO worth it!! We are all stronger, mentally, physically and as a community! Can’t wait to see what challenge Jenny brings us next!

Woke up and gave myself the best birthday gift I could think of… a Get Salty workout! Can’t wait to see what strength I can gain this year!

MDW win - took 5 days off from Get Salty workouts, didn’t track a lick of food, *tried* to build a balanced plate at each meal, took some walks, did some water sports, traveled, drank alcohol, AND didn’t gain a pound. I know Get Salty isnt about weight loss, but a year ago I would’ve gone completely off the rails! I would’ve thought “I’m already off track, I’ll just throw in the towel til I get home” but now I control what I can and let go of what I can’t, and it pays off! Glad to be back in my normal routine this week and pick up right where I left off 💪🏼

Yesterdays leg day was killer and I woke up feeling not as sore as I should’ve been… but I think I cracked the code! Y’all ever heard of Newton’s first law of motion; that an object in motion stays in motion - well I think the consistency of staying moving and never having 2 rest days in a row throughout this challenge has helped keep the soreness at bay! Workouts like this used to have me hobbling up the steps for a week, but now I think “I’ll work out this tightness during my next warm up!”

With the start of week 5 that means we are officially halfway done with beach shred 🥳 I’m so proud of everyone that has finished all 4 weeks, started late, missed a few sessions, or maybe you’re just here to cheer everyone on!
