I have about 60+ shoutouts for Saturday! I can’t wait to train with y’all! But after Fridays cardio hiphop!!
Kickboxing was and is still my happy place! Felt so amazing to take a few minutes out of my day to get this fast but salty mini-session in. Would have gone through it a second time, but I’m looking forward to the cardio hip hop later today. I will definitely revisit this one and do it on my bag when the temps are more cooperative! 🥊🧂🫶🏻
Wednesday’s session did not disappoint and totally burned me to the ground! Forget the mat, Mama T is on fire! But if I’m being honest, I loved this session because it truly made me feel like an athlete. Like a division 1, badass athlete! And also if I’m being honest, the last minute I’m just thankful it wasn’t salt makers - y’all could have just sprinkled my D1 ashes all over some football field then! Kickboxing will definitely have to wait until tomorrow! I gotta go figure out how to put life back in my upper body! Home run on that session Jenny Fisher! ☄️
I just have to say after just completing Friday's session today, that I really appreciated your closing comments about what your training is all about Jenny. It isn't about the before/after pics. I always tell anyone who asks what I do to workout about you and how it's about strength and agility and challenging yourself wherever you are at, and how in the last 2 years I've seen my own agility and stamina grow tremendously. I'm here because it's fun (yes, I am one of those who long ago reached that point where training is my happy place always even when it sucks) and I love seeing the new things that I can do. I'm arguably the fittest I've ever been in my life in my 40s, not the skinniest or smallest, but the fittest--with some wrinkles and cellulite and scars--and I'm finally in a place to really appreciate all that I can do and want to keep doing and trying. It's not all about how I look but the muscles I've built don't look bad :) even if some think I'm too muscular. Thanks for staying true to your mission Jenny. Love you and this community.
Umm yesterdays humpday workout.. lol knocked me on me arse! That is all ✌🏼 😰
Y’all I love seeing all the consistent message notifications during The Grind! It’s so motivating and fun to follow along everyone’s different journeys 🙌🏻😀🙌🏻. I’ve been so consistent with purposeful movement every day and my mental health is loving it. Less anxiety. Motivated. Feel light and happy. Even tho my legs are still sore from Saturday 😅
Holy cow, what a week it’s been. I just wanted to share a photo here with y’all. In 2020 I went through some rough stuff in my relationships, moved to UT from WY; stopped working out for about 4 mo bc I was too depressed - lost ALL my gains I worked for overn 6 years —— I had no job, extra on the depression AND … menopause (thank you), medication that made me gain weight even though I had started working out again!
Then, I met Jenny on IG. Thank you, Jesus! She taught me to think of things as a journey - to se myself as an amazing, triumphant woman who went through some tough shit and came out of it with my health!! I have now lost (since 2021) 40lbs and have put on more muscle than I had before 2020!!! I am stronger, healthier, wiser and more encouraged than ever to give back what had been given to me over the past 3 years!
You can do anything you put your mind to! If you want it, if you choose you; with healthy boundaries - it can happen (barring any injuries or other things that slow things down a bit) But that’s ok -It’s still a journey to learn new and different things along the way. Anything is possible! Dig in and grow - one moment at a time.
Birthday girl thanks you!!!
I was able to get 3/4 of leg day done. Ran out of time -but I was able to use a 40 and a 30 the whole time 💜 So grateful! Thank you for the shout outs Jenny! And the birthday Leg Day was a beautiful gift! Thank you. Sorry y’all. Just don’t ever tell Jenny what your favorites are or she will capitalize on all of it
;o) For the greater good though 🫶🏼
Jenny…. I don’t even know what to say about that session. Happy Humpday peeps! U r in for it🫣
Hey y’all. Does anyone have any guidance on how to change up my setting for workout earbuds? If I only wear one, I can’t hear Jenny talking and if I wear the other, I can’t hear the music. 🤪 totally fine wearing both but sometimes I wear one if I need to hear what’s going on around me. Tried in the actual set already. Thanks!
