Week 6 Beach Shred
You know you slayed your session when you see in the mirror your crazy hair! Lol
Needed a quick leg workout this morning before work and Fire Starter was just the thing! Had saved it in my favorites and now I remember why...hits some strength and some HIIT in a quick 40 min session. Those rocket jumps get me every time when we hit them late in the session. Legs were fatigued and on fire at the end, great throw back!
Was just about to hit play on chestickes. My dad called invited us to a firework show. Instead of saying I don’t have enough time for a workout I changed from leggings to shorts and did a 25 minute run. I was going to take it easy but I knew I could run farther than my mind was telling me I could. Positive vibes listened to my body! Was great sweaty run! Happy 4th salty sisters!
After a walk with the dogs decided to get in a couple of mini sessions before Fourth of July activities. Did a strength total body and out of all the mini sessions I could choose, chose one that started with salt makers 🤣🤣 Slay! Finished with a 12 minute core session. I have been out of town for the last week at a youth high school camp. Beach Shred helped me so much with walking the college campus and going up and down stairs. Jenny I love how you posted about active recovery,that help me realize steps count. My watch kept telling me I’m working out😂🤣Thanks for always encouraging us and I can’t wait to start Learn and burn! Lets gooooo👊🏻👊🏻
This little guy joined me for half of the live training session! He said, “mama, your muscles are strong!” What a complement! 🥰
I also realized that my new go to heavy weight is my 30lbs dumbbells! I am definitely getting stronger.
Got two shots in my spine last Tuesday…pain abaited enough to try a session. Did LU 2.0 week 1 mini and man does a two month hiatus (oh and horrible back) make it like I am starting all over. Oh well, I did it and that’s what matters!! 🥸
