Sara Jurek go to Greece now, and then again in January….don’t come back till April. I am already sad it’s August. Our falls are so short here. I really hate the dark,snow/ice and cold. But yes, put North Cascades on a bucket list. Many travel junkies will tell you it’s prettier than the Alps. But….the only way to see it is to hike. There is one road, HWY 20. It connects the West and East side. That’s it. It’s one of the least visited NPs in the country because of that.

Sara Jurek PNW (Pacific Northwest) North Cascades National Park. You can’t access them in the winter. And truthfully, our winters are so not fun. Have to enjoy the summer.

I encourage everyone to take their family/spouse/partner into nature. There is so much to see, find joy in, learn about, and experience. Tuning the world out in solitude does amazing things. #getoutside

After a week of hiking at 8,000-9,300ft I am back. All your comments have me “scared. “. Haha. Somehow a workout with the salt squad is harder than hiking. 💪🏻🧂
