Definitely did not have a goal for muscle gain with dry January. Just wanted to make sure I didn’t have a drinking problem 😂😂! An unintended conscequence of the past month was work pants fit better in waste but tight on thighs - that’s my indication for muscle gain every time.
In the beginning of January when I first noticed the gains I thought it had to be sweets but like I said before I’m way to anal to over do it on those. Plus, with the scale gains I became way more consensus of what was going into my mouth.
I have a college friend who is a competitive body builder and anytime she is in “gain mode” the first thing she does is stop drinking. I never fully understood what alcohol was/wasn’t doing metabolicly for the body until this month.
Just an interesting observation ☺️

Happy belated Valentine’s Day everyone! V-day hits different with a 7 y/o daughter, it was like Christmas😍 she was soooo into it!! She didn’t get much but it meant the world to her - oh to be 7 again 💜💜💜
